Portrait of imperial civil servant about 400 BC Asia minor, Carie, Aphrodisias. Cinquenaire museum, Brussels, Belgium. The 3D scan has been made with photogrammetry and Memento Beta. The 3D scna has been cleaned with Netfabb and Blender. The portrait was originally the head of a statue of man wearing a chlamys (was an ancient Greek type of rather short cloak).The statue was a representation of a governor of a region of Carie. On the base of the statue, the curriculum vitae was written.It was also writtent in old greek: "Christ, born from Marie, my God, save me".   This object is part of "Scan The World". Passing from POV-RAY to LightWave, Houdini, 3DStudio, 3DS Max, Blender. In 2014, I have started 3D scanning with first a Kinect from Microsoft and afterward moved to photogrammetry. Photogrammetry is more flexible and I use mainly 123D Catch and Memento beta, both from Autodesk. In 2015, I started 3D printing with a Solidoodle Press.
