Only fair I add an object after many downloads! Do you waste rolls of filament because you know your prints will take more than whats left on the roll? well worry no more!! The filament joiner I have made fixes that problem. I used to keep but not use all those rolls with about 1/4 left of filament. Now I have made this little object as a platform to hold and join the left overs to create one new rolls! Designed for 3mm filament. The filament fits snuggly too. print it, then secure it. now get yourself a small hair straightener (the skinny little ones) I am using a VS sassoon mini pro which cost me about $20 AUS i turn it on, wait for a minute or so then i squeeze the it and its joined, I let it cool before its cooled i start to roll it into the main roll thats it. I hope this helps people BTW i cannot give you the originals model unless you use Archicad. Instructions I built it in Archicad ( I am an Architect)
