The other day, I sculpted a clod soldier using epoxy putty and then we scanned it into a 3d printable miniature with the tech we're using for our Old School Archive project. This led to us realizing that lots of people would be able to make one of these charatcers and that we should probably run a contest. So here it is! - Dutchmogul CONTEST RULESSculpt a clod soldier (or other Earthenkind character) by hand. All entries should: fit within 40mms in the X, Y, and Z dimensions. be sculpted using epoxy, clay, FIMO, Sculpey, or any other physical medium that can hold up on its own. be unpainted, showing the original materials. generally follow the style of other Earthenkind characters.If your piece is selected, we'll ask you to mail it to us so we can scan it (and we'll cover shipping costs via PayPal). Your submission will then be mailed back along with any physical prizes. Any models that are selected will become available as free downloads as part of the Earthenkind collection, and all artists will be attributed. DEADLINEEmail pictures of your sculpt to [email protected] (or tag #clodbash2021 and @illgottengames on Instagram) before the end of 2021. We'll assess submissions and announce winners sometime early in 2022 (to allow time for shipping, scanning, processing, et cetera). PRIZES First Place: $100 gift card to the Old School Archive, 3d prints of all selected entries Second Place: $50 gift card to the Old School Archive, 3d prints of all selected entries Third Place: $25 gift card to the Old School Archive, 3d prints of all selected entries The Old School Archive storefront will be opening in December, and will be active by the time gift cards are issued. The selected Earthenkind submissions will be printed in resin and sent back along with the original master.
